Incident of public indecency - Dunfermline Queen Margaret and Dunfermline Town

British Transport Police (BTP) has today released a CCTV image of a man, as it is believed that he may be able to assist with enquiries following a report of an act of public indecency.  

The incident happened on a  train travelling between Dunfermline Queen Margaret and Dunfermline Town on 3rd May 2017. This was a train service from Glenrothes with Thornton to Edinburgh Waverley. 

The man is described as being aged between 35 to 40 years of age, approximately 5ft 10ins, with short brown hair, medium build with bushy eyebrows.

He was wearing a brown jacket with light coloured sleeves, light coloured trousers and white footwear.

The male left Dunfermline Town Railway Station, either on foot or by taxi.

Detective Constable Donna Davanna, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, said:

"I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man shown in the photograph to contact me as a matter of urgency.

"Any information, no matter how small, could prove vital in our enquiries to trace this man.”
