Update: Man arrested in connection to Birmingham rape investigation has been bailed

The 22-year-old man arrested in connection to rape in Birmingham has been released under police investigation. 

The man from the Birmingham area was arrested on suspicion of rape, this arrest was in connection with an incident in which the teenager was raped in a vehicle in the Witton area at around 2am on Wednesday 26 July.
Detectives are still appealing for good Samaritan who picked up the victim after she was raped for the second time. The driver of the second vehicle, described as a people carrier type car, is believed to have given the victim a lift home after she was raped a second time.
