Officers are releasing a CCTV image in connection with an investigation into two seperate sexual assaults against two women.
The first incident happened on 19 January this year on a Victoria line train between Oxford Circus and Finsbury Park at 6.36pm.
The victim, a 22-year-old woman, was waiting on the platform when she noticed a man stood behind her. She thought he looked suspicious, and when the woman boarded a busy train she was followed by the man.
During the journey the man sexually assaulted the woman over her clothing. The man and the woman left separately at Seven Sisters.
Officers are now linking this incident with a second incident which happened on 30 March at 12.30pm on a Victoria line train between Kings Cross and Seven Sisters.
A 26-year-old woman boarded a north bound tube service at Kings Cross. The woman sat down and a man sat next to her.
During the journey the woman began feeling the man’s right hand touching her inappropriately. The woman stood up and moved away.
She left the service at Seven Sisters and changed carriages.
The man left the tube at Seven Sisters and waited on the platform for another train to arrive.
Officers have been working to investigate the two incidents and enquiries have led them to link the two incidents.
As part of the ongoing investigation we are now releasing a CCTV image of a man who officers would now like to speak with in connection with the two incidents.
We urge anyone who recognises the man to contact us on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 citing reference 350 of 03/08/2017.
