Update: Message from family of girl who died in Herne Bay - Kent

A 16-year-old girl who died on the railway in Kent has today been formally identified as Taiyah-Grace Peebles.

Taiyah-Grace, from Herne Bay, was found on the railway at Herne Bay station at around 7am on Wednesday.

BTP officers and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended but sadly Taiyah-Grace Peebles was found to have died.

Taiyah-Grace’s family would like to thank everyone for the kind words and messages of condolences that they have received since Taiyah-Grace’s death.

They have today released a photograph of Taiyah-Grace with her Mum, siblings and nieces.

Taiyah-Grace’s family have now asked that their privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult and sad time.
