Appeal for information after assault – Flintshire

Do you recognise this man?

We’d like to speak to him in connection with an incident in which a member of staff was assaulted at Shotton High Level railway station in Flintshire.

The incident happened at around midday on Saturday 24 June.

A man was travelling on a train with the wrong ticket and when he was challenged by the train guard he became abusive. He then left the train and continued to abuse the staff member on the platform, before grabbing the victim’s arm.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV images as he may have information which could help the investigation.
