Officers have launched an investigation after a train guard was spat at on board a train service between Dunblane and Edinburgh.
 
The incident happened on 14 June at 10.30am.
 
The guard on board the service was shouted and sworn at aggressively before being spat at by a passenger.
 
The incident happened following a dispute over a railcard.
 
Officers would like to speak to anyone who was travelling on board the service and witnessed the incident.
 
The man is described as approximately 20 years of age, skinny build, short blonde hair, Scottish accent. He was wearing a green camouflage jacket, black skinny jeans and trainers.
