Appeal for information after robbery - Wolverhampton

We are appealing for information after a robbery in Wolverhampton.

At around 2.10pm on Tuesday (31/5), a 25-year-old woman was walking along a footpath leading to Priestfield tram stop from George Street.

She felt a tug on her handbag and realised a man was trying to pull it from her.

A second man also grabbed her rucksack and shoved the victim.

Both men then ran away.

A number of personal items of financial and sentimental value were taken.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

The first offender is a black man, aged in his early twenties, 5ft 9 – 5 ft 10ins, with short dark hair.

He was wearing a blue hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.

The second offender is a black man, aged in his early twenties, 5ft 10ins – 5ft 11ins.

He was wearing an off-white tracksuit top, light-coloured tracksuit bottoms and carrying a white bandana with a purple pattern.
