We are appealing for information after a man touched himself inappropriately on a train from Glasgow Central.

The incident happened at around 3pm on Saturday (6 May), on board a train from Glasgow Central to Wemyss Bay.

A man stood in front of and close to a woman who was sitting down and touched himself inappropriately whilst looking at her.

The woman felt very uncomfortable and upset by the incident.

She got off the train and reported the incident to police.

The offender is aged in his forties, of North African or Middle Eastern appearance, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket and had a purple trolley case with him.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident who has not yet come forward, or anyone else who may have information about what happened.
