Appeal to trace man in connection to train brawl – Leeds to Hull

Officers from British Transport Police are releasing CCTV images a man they wish to speak with in connection to a fight. 

The incident happened on board the 10.21pm Northern service between Leeds and Hull on Saturday 25 March. As the train progressed towards Hull a fight broke out between a group of men with punches being thrown. 

Investigating officer PC Thomas Walker, said: “I am very keen to speak with the man in the CCTV image as I believe he hold vital information which could help us investigate. From viewing the on board CCTV it is clear this fight very quickly escalated, however we are not sure why. Violence will never be tolerated and we will always look to take firm action against perpetrators. 

“If you were on board this train and witnessed what happened, or know the man in the CCTV images, please get in touch. Your information could prove vital.”
