Do you recognise this woman?

We would like to speak to her in connection with a racially aggravated public order offence.

The incident happened at around 2.50pm on Sunday 2 April, in WH Smith at Victoria station in London.

A woman entered the shop and attempted to pay for items with a £50 note. When the member of staff politely refused to accept the note as he did not have enough change in the till, the woman became irate and threatened to punch the member of staff in the face.

She then racially abused him. She returned to the shop several times to continue shouting at the victim.

Officers would like to speak to the woman shown in the CCTV images as she may have information which could help with the investigation.

If you recognise her, please call 0800 40 50 40 or text information to 61016, quoting reference number 297-020417.
