Man admits grooming charge – Wolverhampton

A man has today (31 March) pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to meet a girl under the age of 16 following grooming at Wolverhampton railway station.

Michael Quick, 55, of Shenden Close, Sevenoaks, Kent, appeared before Walsall Magistrates’ Court where he admitted trying to meet a 14-year-old girl at the station on 1 March. He was arrested on the same day following a report from a third party.

Following his appearance, he was released on court bail and is next due to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court for sentencing on 28 April.
