A teenager was headbutted in a totally unprovoked attack at Evesham station – and we’d like to speak to this man in connection with the incident, as he may have information which could help our investigation.

The victim – an 18-year-old man – was sitting at the Worcestershire railway station at around 9.30pm on Wednesday 8 February.

A man got off the train, approached the victim and started shouting at him. The victim tried to run away but was cornered by the offender, headbutted and punched.

Investigating officer PC Thomas Greenslade said: “The victim in this case has learning difficulties, and, although this attack is not believed to be because of that, it has left him deeply affected.

“He is too scared to go near the railway station in case he sees his attacker. It is simply not ok for someone to be living in such fear as a result of an incident like this.

“Please help us find this man – we think he will be able to help our investigation – and help us get justice for the victim.”
