Recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him after a bag containing an expensive laptop was stolen from a train at Birmingham New Street.

The victim boarded the 5.35pm Cross Country service from York to Reading. He sat in Coach D and placed his bag, containing a £2,000 Apple Pro laptop, on the overhead luggage rack.

At around 8pm, the victim went for his bag but realised it had gone.

A female passenger a few rows back informed him that a man sat behind him had left the train at Birmingham with the bag.

The offender left the train with three bags and then caught a train in the direction of Lichfield.

We’d like to speak to the man from this image, as we believe he could help with enquiries.
