Do you recognise this man?

We would like to speak to him in connection with racist behaviour on board a train between Manchester and Lancaster.

At around 9.15pm on 21 January, the victim, a 27-year-old man, was travelling on the train and just after the train left Preston, a passenger who was sat across the aisle began making racist remarks towards  him.

The offender’s comments included suggesting that the victim was studying in the UK so he could use his education to teach terrorists.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image as he may have information which could help with the investigation.
