Update: Man charged with assault against special constable - Plymouth

A man has appeared in court in connection with assault against a special constable at Plymouth railway station on Saturday.

Jonathan Feasey, aged 23,of Downend, East Taphouse, Plymouth, was initially charged with one count of attempted murder.

He appeared before Plymouth Magistrates' Court this morning and the charge was changed to ABH - assault. 

The charge is in connection with an incident which happened at Plymouth railway station at around 7.45pm on Saturday(25/2).

Feasey was arrested on Saturday and charged yesterday (26/2).

He has been bailed and is next due to appear before the same court on 20 March.
