We’re releasing images of a man we would like to speak to following an assault at Liverpool Street, which left a man with a broken ankle.
The incident, which happened in Liverpool Street’s Central Line ticket hall, took place  on Friday 14 October at 5.45pm.
A man became involved in a verbal altercation with another man while walking up the escalator from the east bound Central Line platform.
They both continued to argue as they walked through the ticket barriers and into the Central Line ticket hall.  As the argument escalated both men grappled and fell to the floor.
One of the men walked away, while the other was left needing an ambulance and surgery to his ankle which was left broken.
Investigating DC Paul Cudby said: “This incident just goes to show how quickly a verbal altercation can get out of hand.
“This man was left with a broken ankle and in severe pain after the incident. I would like to speak to the man in the CCTV images I believe he was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident.”
