British Transport Police officers are releasing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following a racially aggravated common assault.
 
The incident happened on Monday, 18 July at 7pm at Elephant and Castle London Underground station.
 
A man made racial comments towards the victim as he was boarding a lift to the ground level.
 
In the Northern Line exit booking hall the man attacked the victim by punching him to the jaw.
 
PC Ben Pereira said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who may have witnessed the incident. This was an unprovoked attack which has left the man shaken. Everyone has the right to travel on the rail network without fear or intimidation.”
